Here's the plan as it stands now. Much of this depends on the number of rigs we end up with and the support we receive from the vendors who serve the overlanding community. Event Plans Three Chances to Win! All raffle winners will be announced during our Saturday night festivities. You must be present to win. Vendor Raffles Each vendor booth will raffle something valued at $100 or more. You will need to register with each vendor for their raffle. There will be a limit of one entry per person per vendor and you must be 18 or older to participate in the vendor raffles. Event Raffle There will also be an event raffle on Saturday night. Those that register for one of the three day options by July 15th will receive three event raffle tickets with their registration. Those that register for one of the three day options by August 19th will receive two event raffle tickets with their registration. Those that register for one of the three day options after August 19th will receive one event raffle ticket with their registration. Everyone else (passenger over 18, or Saturday only registration) can purchase one event raffle ticket for $5 at the event. 50/50 Raffle We also plan to have a 50/50 drawing to benefit the winner, and Tread Lightly. You can buy as many raffle tickets as you want! One winner will be drawn and will be awarded half the pot. The other half will be donated to Tread Lightly. Awards Depending on sponsor donations we hope to also have various awards for different vehicle builds, trailer builds, best presentation, vehicle that travels the farthest, best campfire story, etc. Classes, Presentations, Trip Reports Each day there will be various classes, presentations, and trip reports. They will cover various overland related topics. Some possibilities are Basic Winching, Recovery Gear Overview, 4WD Systems Overview, Tire Tech/Repair, Vehicle Packing, Basics of Navigation, Off Road Safety, Outdoor Photography Tips, Basic First Aid, Camp Cooking, Trail Communications, Solar Power, Tread Lightly, On-board Water, and others. What presentations are offered will depend on attendance, volunteers, and scheduling. We will publish a final schedule as we get closer to the event. Vendors/Exhibitors We will be inviting vendors of overland related products to be a part of this event. Where would we be without our vendors! Each vendor booth will have a drawing for something valued at $100 or more. Attendees will need to register at each booth for the drawings they want to participate in. Winners will be announced during the Saturday night festivities. We invite you to visit our Vendor Spotlight page often to keep up with the vendors that have committed to attend this event. Trail Time We will allow time for those that would like to to get out on the trail and explore the Ozarks. The Ozarks are beautiful in the Fall and there's trails for every level of experience and vehicle build! Warning some trails can be tight and surface scratches are likely. We recommend everyone have a CB, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit and require a 4wd, tow points front and rear, and an off road capable tire. Registration Options Three Day Plus Registration - $55.00 Includes three day admission to the Rendezvous for driver and passengers, one event t-shirt, one event patch, one event sticker, and one, two, or three event raffle tickets depending on how early you register. Three Day Only Registration - $35.00 Includes three day admission to the Rendezvous for driver and passengers, one event sticker, and one, two, or three event raffle tickets depending on how early you register.
